Pralognan & the Park

In winter, Pralognan-la-Vanoise is a natural ski resort at human-sized !

Well-known as a ski resort for alpine and Nordic skiing, Pralognan offers a natural setting for the whole family.

The alpine ski area includes 26 km of slopes between 1410 and 2355 m altitude, 24 slopes for all levels of ski, 70 snow-blowers and a snowpark.

The 24 km of marked Nordic trails are accessible for cross country skiing, snowshoeing or walking across forest and plateau.

Due to its location in the heart of the Vanoise National Park and its line of glaciers, Pralognan hosts the first French center of mountaineering and ice hike. For initiation or advanced Ski touring, you will discover new sensations in a unique natural setting, accompanied by professional mountain guides.

Pralognan also allows you to try all kinds of winter sports such as skating, curling, hockey, dog ride sled, paragliding, snowman building competitions. In snow-boots, the village offers a variety of entertainment for children and older: movies, shows, guided tours, craft workshops, restaurants, bars, bowling, pool, ...

Among winter events, note that Pralognan monitors team organizes every week a torchlight parade followed by the traditionnal mulled wine. There are also ice hikes racings, the TransVanoise, the Trophée des Domes (for the first time in winter 2014), and the equally famous "Race of the Century" at the end of the season.
